As you all our aware of the fact that Global recession has hit not only us buy majority of the market. I, Mr. Brown, head of marketing department of Innovation Communications Ltd. Would like to communicate this information to all our staff members that the bonus which was announced has to be postponed for time being. The Global Recession has been a main concern for our firm from sometime now, which forced us to take a decision like this.

Majority of the companies are reducing their manforce power, in this situation, instead of layoffs and job-cuts, management has decided just to postpone the bonus. Though, I would like to mention it that the company has not cancelled the bonus, it is just postponed till the time conditions are feasible again. We are looking for an accommodating and encouraging response from your end. And expect that everyone would support each other in these difficult times.

I, Mr Collins, head of the marketing department of KBS Communications Ltd, am writing this letter to convey my apologies to all my staff people for announcing that the bonus which has been promised has to be indefinitely postponed. The undesirable and unfortunate cropping up of the Global Recession phenomenon has been the major concern in the recent times for the firm and it is for this reason that the bonus has to be postponed.
