Dear Mr. Martin,
I am writing this letter for not able to attend classes tomorrow. I am studying in Grade IX. I am suffering from cold and flu and doctor has advised to take full bed rest for faster recovery. I could not attend school for the same reason and will not be able to come till tomorrow. I know that the test to be conducted tomorrow is very important and I regret for not being able to take it. However I will be obliged if you conduct it again for my benefit, I would be grateful to you. If that is not possible, I will understand the concern and I am ready to forego the marks for it.
