Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I want leave for three days from 24^th April 2012 to 26^th April 2012. I have finalized one property in the town and during these three days I shall be completing the legal formalities of the same and taking possession of the house. I shall also be shifting into the new residence immediately and as a result I shall not be able to attend office on those three days. . I, therefore, request you to grant me casual leave for one day so that I can complete all formalities regarding purchase of my house.

I shall be available on phone, however, for any problems that may occur. In addition, I have instructed my colleague Jacob as to the details of the projects I have been handling and he is well aware of the situation and can handle the same for next three days. I kindly request you to grant me a leave for three days and oblige.
