Sample General Agreement Letter

This Agreement is made on the [Day name] day of [Month], [Year], between [first party name with address] and [second party name] with address].

The term of this Agreement shall begin [start date] and end [end date].

In consideration of the joint pledges and benefits made and received by both the parties hereto, the parties agree as follows:

The conditions of this Agreement shall be severable and if any is declared to be unlawful, unacceptable, or unenforceable, the rest of this Agreement with no regard to such unlawful, invalid or unenforceable part shall continue in full force as though such negated condition had not existed, unless exclusion of such materially modifies the rights and compulsions of the parties, in which case this Agreement shall be deemed ended.

The rejection by any of the parties of any infringement of any condition of this Agreement by the other shall not be understood to be either a waiver of that party’s rights about any subsequent violation of any such provision or a waiver of the condition itself.

This is the complete Agreement between the parties and revokes and succeeds all preceding written or verbal understanding, agreements, conciliations and any other obligations in regard to the matter covered in this Agreement.

All adjustments and amendments to this Agreement must be signed by both parties.

This Agreement shall be ruled and interpreted under the laws of the State of [state name]. In any act or suit to implement any right or remedy under this Agreement or to understand any condition of this Agreement, the wining party shall be entitled to recover its expenses that includes the attorney’s fees.

Unless as otherwise provided, no part of this Agreement shall be interpreted to make any party the negotiator of the other for any intention whatsoever.

Unless as otherwise provided, this Agreement shall be compulsory upon and inure to the advantage of the parties’ descendants and lawful assigns.
