Dear Mr. Greg,

First of all, I would like to thank you for allowing me to work from my home as I had to help my wife for her rehabilitation post here tragic accident a month ago.

Apart from me, my whole family is doing everything possible to help her recover. I am grateful that you trusted me and helped me and my family during this tough time.

Further, I would like to say that now even after one month, the condition of my wife is not really well, and she needs my help for a lot of things. So, I am unable to regularly work at the office in the near future. I know that you have given me lot of responsibilities and you rely on me for many important things, but I am really not able to come to office for work.

Also, I believe that it will not be possible for you to allow me to work from home in the future. So, keeping it in mind, I am resigning from my position.

However, I offer my services as a freelancer till the time you find a better replacement for this job.

At last, I would say that it was really a privilege to work with your company and come across such a great person that you really are. I really enjoyed working with your company and I will recommend this place to my friends for work.
