I would like to thank you for approving of my leave last week. This letter is in reference to express my gratification for your support. I cannot express in words how much I have been able to do for my sick mother.
I would also like to tell you that my mother has started to recover from her illness. I am well aware that the leave I requested caused an increase in the work load.
