It is alarming to see how the prices of all the essential commodities have made new peaks in last few years. All the price rise records have been broken and this has seriously hit the pockets of a common man. We have seen that the prices of commodities like sugar, flour and other household commodities have been putting a constant pressure on the household budgets of every household in the country. And this price rise has made it extremely difficult to manage the monthly budgets for a common man.
No longer are the basic commodities are priced at basic levels. Milk has been extremely pricey wherein it is one of the most common things in every household. Likewise, vegetables and fruits which are needed on daily basis are also making new highs.
Looking at the present situation, the government must take serious actions in order to help the situation improve or else it is going to get very difficult for a common man to manage his expenses. I request you to please use your editorial column for highlighting this issue and for shaping the opinion of the masses.
