Dearest Dad,
How are you and mom doing? I hope with all my heart that you both remain in good health always. I have had a great stay in the Japan in the past months. The school was an excellent venue for learning and I was exposed to so many new things and advances in the field of science and technology. The special program ended last month, but I also bring you wonderful news. I applied to be one of the beneficiaries of a scholarship program there that would allow me to take up higher studies in the same university. It is my good fortune to be one of those accepted for the said scholarship.
The studies begin next month and I am getting ready to leave the country again soon. I bid you farewell again Dad. I will keep writing you from time to time so that you will not miss me too much. Take care always.
