Dearest Mom,

I hope you are doing good.

I am writing this letter to say sorry to you for my behavior the other day. I know that I have badly hurt you with my words as well as my behavior and it is going to be very difficult for you to forgive me.

I don’t want to give you any excuse but I just want you to know that from last couple of months, there has been a lot of stress at work and despite trying hard, I am not able to learn to deal with it. I know you have always asked me to keep my professional tensions at work and not get them home as they ruin the happy vibes at home but I guess I have failed in doing so and that’s the reason I talked to you in such a bad tone and this is just not acceptable on my part. I should have never done so and I have no words to tell you how bad I feel about the whole situation.

But with this episode I have realized one thing that I really need to learn to manage and deal with my stress and anger as I cannot afford to hurt the people who mean me everything. I promise that I am going to work on myself and I will make sure that such a thing never ever happens again. I know it is not going to be easy and it will take a lot of efforts and time for me to correct it but I request you to please be understanding and excuse me this one last time for my behavior.

I know that you want the best for me and all that you were telling me was for my own good but at that time, I was so full that I could not take anything. I am hopeful that you will understand that I did not have any bad intensions.

Please call me or write back to me after reading this letter.

With lots of love,

Tom
