Dear Mr. Clark,

First of all, I would like to congratulate you on this new large order procurement by our company. I would say that our sales team would not have achieved this without your intelligent suggestions and guidance at every step.

Further, I would like to say that I was really excited when you offered me a senior position last Friday. However, regretfully I inform you that at this stage of my career, I think it would be better for me to move on and accept new challenging opportunities. Recently, I have been offered a senior role in a company that is doing great in its field.

I want to say that after working here for so many years, it was not really easy for me to take this decision, but at the same time, it is the right time for a new change in my career.

I plan to join this new company by the first week of next month.

So, please accept my resignation from this company. I assure you that I will perform my duties very efficiently and dedicatedly till the time I am here.

It was really a great experience to be working for ‘New Hawaii Electricals Corp.’.
